NOA NOON GAMMELGAARD

Noa Noon Gammelgaard est une artiste danoise qui vit au cœur de Copenhague, où se trouve son atelier. Elle a grandi dans cet atelier, avec une mère artiste qui l'a toujours encouragée à peindre. Le pinceau a donc toujours eu une place importante, puis plus tard le ciseau et le marteau pour la sculpture.

Toutes ses œuvres sont réalisées avec un art ancien, comme le faisait un peintre il y a environ 200 ans. Elle travaille avec des pigments naturels et des matériaux recueillis dans la nature et dans des endroits secrets du monde entier. Comme la craie magique de corail danois qu'elle utilise comme peinture. Cette série est un hommage à la craie de corail et s'inspire de cette substance ancienne.

Noa est actuellement étudiante à l'Académie royale danoise des beaux-arts de Copenhague.

Noa Noon Gammelgaard is a Danish artist living in the heart of Copenhagen, where her atelier is placed. She grew up in this very atelier, with a mom being an artist and always encouraging her to paint. The paintbrush has therefore always been an extended part of her, then later a chisel and hammer for sculpting.

All her works are made with ancient artistry as a painter did for about 200 years ago. Working with natural pigments and materials gathered from nature and secret places around the world. Such as the magical Danish coral chalk that she uses for paint. This very series in an homage to the coral chalk taking inspiration from this ancient substance.

Noa is currently a student at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen.
